"Sarah is so helpful and knowledgeable and made me see connections with my behaviour and past experiences that I hadn't realised were so important. "

Why work with me?

I've worked with people in one form or another since I was 17, across a variety of roles and industries. That has taught me something important: people are complicated, and there is rarely a single approach that works for everyone.

My route into remedial hypnosis wasn't a straight line. Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years working in business and developing Equine Assisted Training, where I worked with individuals and organisations exploring leadership, communication, behaviour and personal change. Those experiences gave me a fascination with what makes people tick — why we think, feel and behave as we do, and why knowing that something isn't helpful doesn't necessarily make it easy to change.

I'm a qualified CONTROL System remedial hypnotist, and my approach is practical, collaborative and personalised. I don't believe you need to spend years analysing your past to create change in the present, nor do I believe that therapy should be unnecessarily complicated. My role is to help you understand what's going on, identify what needs to change and work with you to make that change happen.

I also know what it's like to be on the other side of the desk. Asking for help can feel uncomfortable, particularly when you don't really understand why you're behaving or feeling the way you do. There is no judgement here, and you don't need to arrive with everything neatly explained. That's part of what we're here to work out.

My aim is simple: to help you make meaningful, lasting changes so that you can get back to living your life rather than managing the problem.
